In what is believed to be an industry first, X-Bow has successfully fired a solid rocket motor (SRM) ignitor using an in-house designed Electronic Ignition Safety Device (eISD). Later this week, X-Bow will conduct its first full SRM test with the eISD, advancing development of the Mk 72 and Mk 104 motors in support of the @USNavy’s Standard Missile program.
