South Africa 2010 vs 2026. This is what DEI does, on a national scale.

⚡️🇷🇺Putin demanded explanations from officials why Russia’s budget numbers no longer match macroeconomic reality. 📉On April 15 he held a closed economic meeting with Central Bank chief Elvira Nabiullina and PM Mikhail Mishustin. He admitted GDP fell 1.8% in Jan–Feb, with contraction continuing for two consecutive months. Manufacturing, industrial output and construction all moved into negative territory, dragging investment activity. ‼️I’m wondering why he didn’t mention about 🇺🇦Ukraine, because the ongoing war in Ukraine initiated by Putin continues to weigh heavily on output through sanctions, defense spending and capital outflows. #RussiaEconomy #MakeRussiaPay Photo: @reuters

His name was Mikael Janicki. He was a 39-year-old Polish man living in Sweden. He was cycling with his 12-year-old son to the swimming pool. In a pedestrian underpass, they were surrounded and verbally harassed by a group of immigrants. Mikael turned back to confront them and protect his son. One of them, named Mohammed Khalid Mohammed Mohammed, pulled out a gun and shot him twice in the head at close range, right in front of his boy. Mikael died shortly after. The shooter, a repeat offender with prior convictions including attempted murder, was sentenced to 14 years in prison in March 2025. Four others from the group were convicted of helping the killer escape and covering up evidence. Since they were minors, they received youth care, probation with community service, and youth supervision and spent not a single day in prison.
