🇩🇪 The Devil's Bridge: Germany's legendary bridge full of beauty and secrets✨ Hidden in the beautiful Kromlau Park in Saxony is the famous Rakotzbrücke - a bridge that looks like it's out of a fairy tale. Built in 19th Century, this impressive structure was designed so that the reflection in the water forms a perfect circle. It got its mysterious name "Devil's Bridge" because of its extraordinary design and the legends that rank around its creation. Today it is one of the most photographed hidden treasures of Germany and excites visitors from all over the world. A unique masterpiece, where architecture and nature blend perfectly together.

Just here on Bavarian countryside you find a masterpiece evoking absolute free FLOATING!!! 📍The Abbey Church in Rohr (lower Bavaria) was built by the genius Egid Quirin Asam from 1717-1723 ✨The sculpture is made of iron wire, straw, stucco and paint and shows Mary Ascending Heaven, which is symbolized by the glooming Holy Spirit dove above and god father with Jesus waiting one level up the altar. ✨The figure is more than lifesize and used a simple trick to evoke floating. Mary is based on two angels which are connected with the backdrop thanks to three strong iron beams. So the angels actually cover the construction. ✨ The whole church is focused on this scene as the space is designed as a big stage with balconies for audience and light coming left and right with the altar. 📸: constantin_pelka

@KSBenelux @XMinaShohdy My fav story about these ancient clocks is the story I was told in Egypt at Muhammad Ali Mosque and how they traded an damn obelisk to the French for a clock. They installed the clock in 1830. It broke 2 weeks later and hasnt worked since. Crazy

@XMinaShohdy @MarsHomestead It's one of those foods that is very difficult to describe the taste of because it doesn't taste like anything else. The best I can come up with is it's like a melon but with a sweet floral flavor to it. Delicious if you ever get the chance to try it, don't pass it up!

Homestead discovery of the day: Pearl wanted some papaya for breakfast, which led me down a rabbit hole of asking Grok whether papaya seeds are safe for chickens. Turns out papaya seeds have been studied for their potential antiparasitic properties in both animals and people, and they’re used traditionally in some parts of the world for that purpose. The key is to eat them in moderation a teaspoon is enough. So this morning the chickens got some papaya seeds, we tried a few ourselves, and Mr. Mars announced: “Yay! No more bum worms!” If you’ve ever watched Bluey, you know exactly why we all started laughing. Homesteading is wild sometimes. One minute you’re making breakfast. The next you’re researching papaya seeds and discussing parasite prevention with your chickens. 🥭🐔😂
