@MichelleDewbs @dennisspencer6 I’m guessing it wasn’t princess quay? Don’t think it’d have gone down too well in there. I’d hope he was a good swimmer 🤷‍♂️

I had coffee in a shopping centre earlier & a young man was going up/down on an e-bike inside, narrowly missing shoppers/pushchairs etc. He was laughing & filming himself, presumably for social media clicks. A very elderly lady stood in front of him & shouted ‘NO, get off your bike’. He just laughed & carried on cycling. Security guard just stood there, doing nothing. I wanted to push him off his bike when he next passed. Security guard told me not to, because “you will be done for assault, or worse if he injured himself”. And so, we all sat & watched him continuously ride up & down laughing, while people jumped out of his way… Reader - It was infuriating🤬

My favorite part of the reform conference questions was when Beth Rigby was told, "Listen or we jack it now" by @Nigel_Farage. Beth then replied, "I'll listen." 🤣🤣🤣 Well, and truly put in her place.

@AllisonPearson @merlotwine123 It’s disgraceful Allison. No matter the ideological gap between our leaders, they are our oldest and closest friends. We’ve fought together and died together for the longest time. Trashing the relationship makes a mockery of what’s gone before. He has no right to do it.

Starmer has trashed the Special Relationship on which our poorly-defended nation relies for its security. UK diplomats are horrified at this betrayal of the British interest in favour of grubby vote seeking from Muslims. US will not share intelligence with an Islamised UK!

@RachelHale9920 @BasilTheGreat A month ago I probably wouldn’t have been overly impressed, but Nigel has a canny habit of pulling in the right people to form his team. He knows what he’s doing. Everytime I’ve questioned the logic I’ve ended up having to admit I’m wrong 😂 Not falling into that trap again!

@BasilTheGreat More short sighted drivel from the one and only. Right from wrong. Reform is getting people with experience in, with people tha subscribe to the party policies. Which protest parties seem to be copying. It’s not rocket science. That’s how you win elections.

Let me tell you how goofy Rupert Lowe and his strongest supporters are 🤣 When everything kicked off between the US and Iran.. he runs to x and immediately starts going full on chicken little about Britain.. 😲 bombing Iran 😩regime change 😖 military intervention 🥴 we’re not being some omnipotent superpower. Literally… who said that? 🤣🤣 Quite literally no one, that’s who. 🤦🏻‍♀️ The only actual story was about the US potentially using UK airbases. That’s it. Instead of showing any kind of backbone and backing the ally that’s actually doing the fighting.. he manufactures a full blown red herring. Like it’s his big “Britain First” moment.. arguing against a scenario that no one proposed and talking absolute nonsense that had nothing to do with what was actually happening. And like clockwork with no critical thinking in sight.. here comes his menions and bots saying… “No more wars.” “Britain First.” “Stop spending billions.” Defending make believe scenarios isn’t a flex. It’s just… embarrassing.

No she didn’t. You aren’t anyone’s judge or jury. Whatever Lucy did or didn’t do, it was dealt with by the authorities and most importantly she served her time. You don’t get to film women without their consent, post it online and say they provoked it. The fact that you think you’re justified at all is wild. 😐 if the law are involved, then it’s squarely on you!
Femi@Femi_sorry

@Jonthemon6 And Lucy Connolly provoked that by inciting terrorism. But she made it personal but trying to have me arrested. So now she gets the full court press.

When you say we, who are you actually speaking for? Certainly not me. America are our closest allies, and despite what a handful of vile, agenda based politicians say, always will be. Their soldiers have died to protect ours and vice versa. I imagine they’d be spinning in their graves reading your tweet.

Donald Trump runs 13 US bases on UK soil with over 11,000 troops. We never voted for this. We say NO to being the lapdog of US imperialism. Shut the bases down. Kick all US troops out NOW.

@patriots777888 @GoodwinMJ I really really hope he dusts it off and runs again. What he achieved last night, even in defeat was remarkable. He would be a fantastic reform mp and one we could do with in Westminster. There are other city’s and other seats who would love for him to be their mp.

I agree with nearly everything you said except for the lasting image it’ll leave on Matt Goodwin. A year ago if you’d walked round there or spoke up in any political circle that Labour would poll behind reform there you’d have been laughed out of the place. It couldn’t happen. I saw something this morning saying it was 400 and odd in their list of targets. We aren’t gonna win them all, we know that. There are bits of the country that won’t have it and I fully agree with you on that. The fact is though Matt went to somewhere he shouldn’t and couldn’t have been able to win, finished above Labour and did so well there’s a talk of election fraud to get the greens over the line. That actually makes me feel emboldened about reform. It’s easy to win it the places you’re expected to win, but to go somewhere like this and have it go to the wire is special. It gives me real hope we are onto something. It’s easy to buy into the echo chamber nonsense of x , but to see those numbers come in live was truly remarkable. He didn’t win, but I certainly wouldn’t tar him as a loser and he can definitely go again. He did a brilliant job of it. It’d be almost impossible for anyone to argue against that.

My analysis of yesterday’s by election in Gorton:- Firstly I did not expect Reform to win and I feel it was a waste to use someone with profile like Matt Goodwin to stand there. This opens the door for opponents to criticise him as a loser should he stand elsewhere. As it was a by election, it was worth Reform fielding a candidate. However I stand by my recent posts re a General Election that it is not worth Reform standing in areas that it can’t win. Sectarian politics are here to stay in areas that have seen mass immigration. These demographics against Reform are worsening daily and will be significantly worse in 3 years time by simply projecting forward what is happening now. This will also turn other constituencies over to sectarianism by then. Reform simply cannot win in areas like those stated above. They will now go Green or Labour, more likely Green. Reform threw everything at this, which it cannot do in a General Election and failed. Their opponents pretty much only had to make an announcement in local mosques. Add to this that Reform is always vulnerable to tactical voting by Labour, Green and LibDem voters to stop them. Reform’s efforts and resources in a General Election are better spent gaining power by winning where they can and not reinforcing failure elsewhere jeopardising the prospects at winnable seats. Now the positives… Tory supporters must now realise that they are wasting their votes. They face a stark choice. Vote to save their party and surely fail or vote Reform and maybe save the country. They are done. Finally we come onto the futility of Advance. They got 154 votes, fewer than the Monster Raving Looney Party. You’d have thought Rupert’s online supporters on X would have turned out to back them as Restore hasn’t registered yet. It begs the question why didn’t they? Reform still faces the prospect of losing votes to Restore in future because they remain untested. Some people may switch from Advance (ending it) to Restore now. I think the hardcore Restore supporters will still believe they can do big things and ignore Advance’s result. They will be able to test their belief when the chance arises. Personally I think the outcome will be similar to Advance’s attempt. Summary: It was worth Reform standing as it was a by election. In a General Election they should not stand there. They will suffer a greater defeat. P.S. Andy Burnham must be thinking he dodged a bullet.
