3 of every 4 Orthodox practitioner in America is a first-generation immigrant or their child. It is the second most foreign religion in the country behind Hindus. It is even more foreign than the Muslim demographic.

Having spent maybe 20 yrs on forums and on weird internet etc one of consistent signs of mental illness is conversion to Orthodox Christianity. Only exception is like family men in 40s who are Anglican but want a church for their kids, facing a practical problem.
