fun fact about my brother in law when he was dating my older sister, he had his hair permanently in the hairstyle tintin had in this film, so it led to me and my siblings calling him tintin for the next ten years.

Reread Circle of Inevitability Volume 2 Lightseeker ✅
Rating - 8.3/10
Pros - character development in this volume is really good, lumian feels so real and consistent because of his trauma.
it's actively shaping every decision, and watching him claw toward redemption through relationships and small wins is incredibly satisfying.
The supporting cast is also great in this volume, i really enjoyed the dynamic between lumian, jenna and franca.
Even the minor character charlie's moments were good to read. Their stories also amplify this volume without stealing the spot light.
Trier worldbuilding is phenomenal. We get this lived-in, layered city with social contrasts, fashion culture, and hidden mystical undercurrents. It expands the LOTM universe beautifully, again as always this volume amplifies the overall world building, lore and history of Lotm universe.
We got even more information about the evil gods, their powers and the plot they are cooking.
"For you are dust, and to dust you shall return." The starting line of this volume will hit you in a spot as you continue to read this volume and reach the climax
The themes hit hard in this volume. The Lightseeker idea "powerless specks of dust chasing light across generations" is woven perfectly into the plot and Lumian's journey. It's hopeful yet grounded in the series signature bleakness and inevitability.
The emotional pay off is absolutely phenomenal too. "Mother, I see the light." Hits at the right spot.
Cons - The first half of the volume is quite slow and drags on. I genuinely felt bored while reading it. Fortunately, the second half picks up the pace very quickly.
This volume really takes its time to settle in and develop the plot. Sometimes it takes too long to plant the seeds for the future payoff.
Overall this volume is very solid my rating of this volume is 8.3/10

There is real science behind the idea that the brain changes based on repeated thought patterns — a process known as neuroplasticity. When people consistently practice habits like gratitude, mindfulness, optimism, or positive reflection, the brain can strengthen neural pathways associated with emotional regulation, resilience, motivation, and attention.
Researchers have found that focusing attention on positive experiences may help reduce chronic stress responses and shift how the brain processes future situations. Over time, this can make it easier to notice supportive relationships, opportunities, calm moments, and solutions instead of remaining stuck in cycles of fear, negativity, or hypervigilance.
This does NOT mean “just think positive” cures trauma, depression, anxiety, or hardship. Human emotions are complex, and painful emotions are valid and necessary. Toxic positivity — ignoring real struggles — is not healthy. But training the brain to intentionally recognize moments of safety, progress, connection, and gratitude can improve psychological wellbeing over time.
Studies on gratitude practices and mindfulness have linked them to:
🧠 Lower perceived stress
😴 Better sleep quality
💡 Improved focus and attention
❤️ Greater emotional resilience
🤝 Stronger social connection
📉 Reduced anxiety symptoms in some individuals
The brain is always adapting to repeated experiences and repeated thoughts. What you regularly give your attention to can gradually influence how you experience the world.
