@leorcooper @kristjanmoore @TeixeiraJoaoC Thank you for your feedback! Apologies for the citation oversight. Our info came from Huang et al. (2018), which identifies the macrohaplogroup in Ashkenazi Jews and other European and Asian populations. We’ll clarify this in the revised manuscript.

@kristjanmoore @TeixeiraJoaoC @XavierRocaRada Thanks for this comment— I agree, I’m not familiar with any evidence that this Y chromosome exists in any Jewish group. Ashkenazi Jews in Q all fall downstream Q-L245>Y2200, which is related to this Q branch well over 10,000 years ago.
