Armenia is a really interesting country.
They have their own church which is neither Catholic nor Eastern Orthodox but Oriental Orthodox. And they're quite devout.
There's a theory that Noah's Ark came to rest there.
They have a long history of resistance to foreign invasion, whether Islamic or Russian.
In the English speaking world they have a reputatiom for being tough gangsters with their own Mafia. They also tend to do well in business.
But you don't hear much about Armenia because it's tucked away in a mountainous borderland and is not a major travel destination.

All of that attention fizzled out. Does that mean he fell off? F**k no. The life cycle of attention is just way shorter now.
Streamers are talked about more because they are teasing, promoting, and creating new content daily.
The bright side for artists is; streaming = "what have you done for me lately"
Artists = "what have you done for me".
EsDeeKid (or any artist that blows up) music will be streamed consistently for years. Nobody is re-watching full IShowSpeed VOD's in China, as mind-blowing as it was at the time.

I saw a recent No Jumper interview clip where Adam was talking to Shawn Cee (Say Cheese blog owner), and he talked about how the new generation doesn’t idolize rappers anymore, they idolize streamers. And I feel like a big reason for that is access. Fans today understand music industry deals (to an extent,) they know what their streaming numbers look like, and even how much artists are really making. Meanwhile, streamers look more lit and like they’re making more money too. Streaming def helped rappers gain exposure (at least in the beginning.) But now we’re starting to see how much it’s changed how consumers view them. When fans can see an artist’s entire process in real time, the mystique disappears. And I get how annoying that might sound to artists because they’re constantly being told “stop being mysterious! show the process!” But that type of accessibility has directly contributed to the decline of artists feeling larger than life.

@AngelHi77521961 @2xnmore @instablog9ja The back seat is worse because your inner ear - the thing that detects movement - feels motion, But your eye's pick up less of it. This confuses the brain which, responds with nausea. If you sit in the middle of the back seat and keep your eye's on the horizon, it'll help.

@2xnmore @instablog9ja I have it so bad.. I have to drive everywhere.. the back seat is the worse.. I try to go to sleep or put my air pods in and sit back with my eyes closed til I get home ( me and my dude drive.. we don’t do Ubers) I get sick at the beach.. the waves make me so nauseous.. it’s bad

Farewell Jimmy, I was in Jamaica when “The Harder They Come" was in every cinema on the island. You could feel the pride and and the love for Jimmy everywhere. The sweetest voice, the sweetest soul. His music will live with us forever! Heartfelt condolences to his family!

@boogie_lights @JxOnTheKeyz That's true but for a cover (versus an interpolation) the mechanical doesn't require approval from the copyright holder. You're required to notify the copyright holder and pay the correct royalty rights but the license is automatic. Secret to Weird Al's success!
