so far, in every race of these new regs, before strategy and pit stops come into play, Ocon is not just ahead of Bearman but in the top 8 btw

@walai90 @Prostenjoyer No they we're not. Ocon start on Hard, Bearman start on medium, not the same strategy at all.
In Australia, just look Ocon times. He was behind Norris before the pitstop. After the pit he was losing ~1s/lap and Gasly catch him
That's why Bearman got ahead

@Prostenjoyer He was only ahead of Bearman today because of Hadjar's spin, and they were on the same strategy in Australia. Both benefitted from a VSC. Bearman was just quicker in Australia and overcut Ocon by like 5 seconds on old mediums.

Déjà départ propre, après il se fait pousser par 2 Vcarb mais récup ses places petit à petit et roule P7. Après l'équipe lui demande de laisser passer Bearman puis de défendre sur Gasly/Verstappen. C'était très propre! avant le pit..

Très très fort Ollie Bearman.
Il est clairement destiné pour Maranello.
Il enterre clairement la côte d'Esteban en F1 et même lorsque le vent est contraire en début de course ça tourne positivement.

@SinayUso Pour le T1/T2, arrêtez de parler de Charles. Il s'est fait prendre en sandwich par Lewis et Max, il pouvait ni freiner ni tourner pour prendre son virage correctement sinon c'était la casse. Fait de course mais s'il y a une faute c'est pour Max qui n'allait pas prendre le virage.

Les gens qui pensent que les rookie d'aujourd'hui sont des génies (Colapinto, bearman etc...)
Y en a toujours aucun au niveau de Max & Ocon lors de leurs première saison complète de F1.

Shoutout to Esteban Ocon too, obviously it was his first full season rather than his first EVER season. But still, 18 points finishes, just 1 non-scoring finish, and just 1 DNF is a great job

"C'est très positif pour l'équipe de doubler les points. J'ai été un peu malchanceux avec la deuxième voiture de sécurité et j'ai peut-être perdu trois ou quatre positions, mais dans l'ensemble, c'est très satisfaisant et bravo à Ollie, c'est important pour nous."
"On s'est bien aidés pendant la course, on a travaillé ensemble, je lui ai mis le DRS et on a continué à avancer ensemble."
