@SassySouthBlond @povcops Sure I agree! And they should get punished for it, but the police on the street is not there to dish out this punishment on the spot. There are judges for it, the job of the police is to bring them before one and protect everyone even the suspect. What went wrong in your country?

@BillRandleman @Jwantstobegin @povcops That is not the standard and yes that is really intimidating and wrong. I don't really know for what situations a normal pistol is not enough. But actually drawing a weapon is very very rare here, the police is mostly very friendly and respectful.

I don't think it was because she had to face consequences, she was just scared of the police because she did comply in rolling the window down. Just a few words of compassion and a chance to breath would have made it smoother

@Xemora4 @povcops Compassion for law breakers? I assume your German? Could that explain why illegal immigrants are rampaging through your country. They did try to do things calm but she kept getting upset, because she was being made to feel accountable. Your thoughts?

@Jwantstobegin @povcops No. I would say that for any person, because I live in a country where I do not need to fear police even when I have done something bad. I think US makes it's problems on their own by treating people like that, instead of deescalation and compassion.

@Jwantstobegin @povcops No, but she was not agressive only scared. If they had invested a few minutes in calming her down this wouldn't have escalated like that. Of course she has to face consequences, but being assaulted by a cop is not a healthy one. Do you guys all love to rule with fear?

@achseostwest Ich weiß jetzt den konkreten Fall nicht, aber dass U Haft an extreme Bedingungen gekoppelt ist ist richtig so. Der Sinn von Uhaft ist niemals Strafe, solange keine Haftgründe gegeben wiegt die Freiheit schwerer. Natürlich wird das in Deutschland häufig falsch bewertet.

@DerGanesha @rotundRosa Die Doppelmoral von linken ist extrem. Wie toll und tolerant müsste unsere Gesellschaft sein, dass unser größtes Problem einzelne nicht bösgemeinte Wörter wie Zigeuner sind? Corona hat uns gezeigt wie weit weg wir von dieser Utopie sind. Menschen zu verletzt galt als heroisch.

Beispiel: Jemand wird gedoxxt, weil er früher über sehr dicke Menschen gelästert hat. Warum war es dann plötzlich okay, ihn selbst zu doxxen, Bilder zu bearbeiten oder ihn ständig ‚fett‘ zu nennen – nur weil er ‚rechts‘ ist?“ Deshalb bin ich konservativ: Ich schätze das Gewachsene und Bewährte. Nicht alles Alte ist erhaltenswert – ich glaube wir sind uns einig, das es gut ist, das es keine Hexenverbrennungen mehr gibt. Aber nur weil etwas alt oder traditionell ist, es automatisch abzulehnen, ist genauso dumm.Das Meme ist zwar polemisch, aber ehrlich gesagt frage ich mich manchmal wirklich, ob viele Linke tatsächlich so denken, das es so ist

Um das nochmal aufzugreifen: Ich höre oft Aussagen wie „Wegen des Verhaltens der Linken bin ich nicht mehr links/rechts geworden.“ Ich kann das einerseits verstehen, weil ich selbst oft genug genervt oder sogar erschüttert bin über das Verhalten von Linken. Aber das ändert doch nichts an meinen eigenen Werten! Ich finde doch nicht plötzlich zB Diskrimierung toll oder soziale Gerechtigkeit doof, bloß weil manche linke Personen sich shice verhalten. Nichts gegen dich, @DerGanesha, ich denke nur, du machst es dir da etwas zu einfach.

@PoliceThePolic1 Citizens are punished for compliance. If you resist or not the cuffs are coming, i can't fathom what idiot thought abusing people as a general rule is a good idea. The hate of that police is justified.
