Today I am celebrating 40 years on Earth! If you'd like to help make my day, just reply with a distinct memory of something we did together or any specific video or stream you may remember. You may also call me handsome if you just can't control yourself. 😊🎂

Remember when Heroes of the Storm was called “Blizzard All-Stars” but then people kept calling it “BALLSTARS” and eventually just “BALLS” so they changed it? I do #esports

Game is dying and you have to transition content? READ THIS So much useful information here 🔥
Gladd@Gladd

As someone who took their channel full variety over 6 years ago (from Destiny) with relative success, I’m once again encouraging fellow Destiny creators to start making moves. Now. Don’t wait until June. Start NOW. Where to go from here? 1) Find a new genre, game, or niche. This could be a lateral hop to another similar game, or a complete change in interest. 2) Go full variety. This is the harder path to take imo. Hopping between games will constantly divide viewers, outside of your regular diehards. What to expect? Expect a huge decrease in all metrics. It’s just… part of the reality of the game. You need to plan for this. You need to know it’s gonna happen. Don’t look at it as failing. It’s a transition. Make adjustments in your own life to accommodate. Focus on what you CAN control and stick to it. Look at it as an investment. You’re investing and costing resources into your brand now, to build up a different path for the future. Once things stabilize, holes will fill in again. It takes time. How to do this without shitting your pants? Be. Confident. Approach it with a leadership mentality. YOU are guiding the path. Don’t say things like “Maybe we’ll try this” or “Let’s see how it goes” or “What do you guys wanna see” etc etc. Take control of your content. Be passionate about what you’re doing. And lead the path. Think things like “This is where I’m excited to go” or “You guys are gonna love this” or “I’ve been loving this and y’all will too” etc etc. Be excited and get your community excited. Energy transfers over. Anything else? Find your thing. It may take some time. Each failed video is just a step closer to the next successful one. Image a version of you from the future tells you “Hey! Your 124th video/stream is the one that changed your career!” So if your first 50 vids/streams aren’t great, you’re just closer to that 124th. Listen. There is no playbook for streaming and YouTube success. Not everyone is gonna make it. The best thing you can do is try. Things aren’t over. There’s just a current hurdle. Jump over that shit. But have a plan. Take care of yourself, your family, and anything yours. Life is a challenge. If it wasn’t, it’d be boring. I always tell my chat: “I’d rather be busy and stressed, than bored and depressed.” Cheers, my friends.

Huge shoutout to @HikariNYC and @ViolaTim for coaching me on 2xKO I actually kinda fell in love with fighting games with the help of these guys and you’ll definitely see me chop it up in 2xKO more after ATT. Not bad for my first time on a fighting game. Lots to work on tho.

I feel I have been very civil and very patient during this whole process. I have been trying to mediate this situation with STG through the source itself instead of just taking to twitter so things don’t spiral out of control but obviously that has been a failure. With that being said, Cuddle core did NOT have anything to do with STGs decision to not pick up Shinblade. She was completely unaware of the situation while it was unfolding and had no say in the matter. Multiple STG members can verify this as I explained this to them in the meeting before shins video was released including lankey(CEO of STG), Rio, Gohan, and footz. The decision was 100% mine and mine alone to leave if he was signed, not because I have some personal vendetta against him, but because he is someone my GF isn’t comfortable around, which I value my Relationship more than anything else. My decision was basically me putting my relationship before the tekken sponsorship (which any normal person would do) and I even offered to LEAVE the team if they believed that picking up Shin would be better for business and it would be no hard feelings. The team ultimately didn’t want that as STG as a brand values member loyalty over “signing someone who may be a bigger name just to push the brand forward” This was then relayed by Gohan to shin about the decision which he explained that cuddle had no knowledge of the situation. Yet the video was released anyways that cudds is some master manipulator who is pulling the strings behind the scenes of orgs she’s not affiliated with. Very frustrating to see things unfold that way but we can’t rule out that maybe the information wasn’t communicated to him properly, so footz reaches out and explains again that cuddle had no knowledge of the situation, to which shin acknowledges that the information wasn’t communicated properly and seems to understand my position. Fast forward to the next day, this tweet is made with the last paragraph continuing to push the narrative that has been explained multiple times is FALSE!!! At this point it’s pretty clear you understand my position but simply do not give a fuck about what the truth is, and want to continue to push your narrative anyways. It’s been extremely hard watching the weirdest walks of life use this situation as some sort of validation for them to team up and drag Cudds name through the mud. Not only that, but other content creators just making their thirsty ass reaction posts without verifying anything at all. You’re basically doing to Cudds what Shin believes is happening to him, which you denounce, so not only are yall hypocrites, but show the lengths youd go just to have a spike In traction on yalls weak ass pages. At the end of the day I solely exist in this space just to play and improve as a player. I’m not here to cause drama in any way, but this false narrative about cudds deciding who can join STG and who can’t is simply outrageous and makes no sense.
WTI Shinblade@TN_Shinblade

2 years ago I made my defamation lawsuit public and dropped receipts debunking claims made against me by people who used their gaming popularity to push a narrative that’s affecting my life in such a way that will forever have a stain on it. That’s not okay. The very people with the power who made those accusations changed their profile names, protected their tweets, mass reported or blocked pages of people who supported me. They avoided accountability. They never answered questions that challenged the lies they told. They didn’t stand on the claims they made. What they did and continue to do is use their influence and power and allow their followers to do their dirty work. And here I am today missing out on yet another opportunity based on the same people continuing the same behavior behind blocked pages, protected tweets and NO accountability.

Long form for sure! Think about it this way, how did you first hear about all the biggest creators or start watching their content? Diaphone, Max, Justin, Sajam, PhiDX, TMM, etc. a lot of them barely have shorts and even if they do, statistically, it won't convert to long term viewership. Do you remember the last 10, 50, 100 shorts you watched? Who were they? It's hard to answer because that's the nature of short form content. It's the snacks version of content. Also most might not know this but YouTube long form is amazing for discoverability. It's not subscriber based anymore. If you make a good video that people are interested in watching, even a new channel with 0 subscribers can get 100k - 1million views for that video. Every video is rated on an individual basis and YouTube does its best to match the right content to the right viewer.

There's data that shows YouTube is growing fast as the largest streaming platform. Surpassing Netflix, Disney platforms combined, and other services. A lot of people still want to watch long form! Don't sleep on it 😛 Plus we do have a short form AI slop issue right now. It's too easy to create them and we're seeing feeds being flooded by it. Anecdotally I know people are tired of watching shorts, and brain rotting (even tho they might still be doing it). Instead, they're looking for more intentional ways to consume media and spend their time. Watching long form that's not brain rot and snack like, is one of them.

@XenosKing I feel nowadays not everyone wants to watch long form videos. It could also be shorts/TikTok clips

Is it really click bait tho? A/B test on YouTube is to test watch time performance. Not click thru rate. So why did #2 do the best? I believe it's curiosity. There's a sense of mystery that needs to be solved because of how vague it is. But because it's Apple, people are always interested in seeing what they're doing. As for the other two, those are very technical titles. One is a review and the other is a statement about the best monitor for Mac. Therefore, the potential viewership is smaller.
Oliur@UltraLinx

YouTube users, why are you like this. I hate how clickbait works.
