@Xkan_ @whenitjakes There is nothing more magnificent than a small team beating a big team.
With his idea we wouldn't have seen Turkey in the 2002 semi-finals, Greece winning the Euros in 2004, Belgium kicking out Brazil in 2018 or Bulgaria beating Germany in 1994.
How would that be a good idea?

@whenitjakes Even in Europe, every team gets enough chances, I mean Denmark bottled it against BELARUS, Scotland and Czechia, teams they're all much better than and outclassed in each of their games, yet failed to beat any of them. The better team doesn't always win, that's just football.

@whenitjakes Wouldn't make it much of a world cup then, Yes Italy, Denmark and Poland would steamroll those countries but it's a WORLD cup, there should be representatives from every corner of the world, there's a reason the UCL isn't just 20 prem teams and top teams from the top 5 leagues.

Many things have gone wrong for Denmark 🇩🇰 in this qualifying campaign, but this was the crucial moment.
A win at home vs already eliminated Belarus 🇧🇾 would've sent Denmark 🇩🇰 to the World Cup with 1 round to spare.
They managed only a draw.
The rest is history.

@HHHendricks1 @forzalossie @fmeetsdata Haha can't say the team doesn't share a large part of the blame as well, I just think it's harsh to blame them for the game against scotland considering the circumstances around the red, as well as the fact that we had twice as may shots despite being a man down for 40-50 mins.

@HHHendricks1 @forzalossie @fmeetsdata I'll agree that the penalty was a bit unfortunate but to say it was "Never a penalty" feels like a reach. The argument against it would be that Isaksen was outside the box but the ball was inside of it.
While Kristensen's sending off was off the back of a Mcginn dive.

No slight on Sweden, but it is nothing short of disgusting that a team can qualify for a World Cup by getting relegated to Nations League C and then beating Azerbaijan and Estonia.

@mainooszn05 @nocontextfm1 Nah, it incentivizes nations to purposefully lose to make it into lower divisions in the run up to a world Cup year. Sweden were no where near one of the best performers in the nations league, they topped their 3rd division group. Like arguing that league 1 champs should get UCL.
