@Tablesalt13 This is very explanatory when you consider it’s dollars losing value not items getting more expensive. Change your measurement device to real monetary tool like gold or silver. Then start buying the new digital monetary asset asap.

This is outrageous..
Not a single person on my flight is masked up while we’re in the middle of a double pandemic (Covid + Hantavirus).
I politely informed the flight attendant that this is a super spreader event. She just shrugged and walked away. I've already filed a formal complaint with the FAA and CDC. This is reckless and cannot stand.
Masks save lives, the science is settled on that.

@ryangerritsen His speeches are sounding more and more like they were written by Kamala Harris. 😂
English

We have a Prime Minister who has focused more making people hate the U.S. & their president than actually accomplishing anything meaningful within our own Country.
He’s actually making life worse for Canadians by purposely dismantling our relationship with them. All to satisfy an agenda no one voted for. He repeats that the world is more dangerous. No it’s not. He’s using that as a distraction, what his Government has is made Canada more dangerous. 11 years & our Country is unrecognizable. These tired somber speeches aren’t putting food on the table or paying the bills.
English

@bruce_barrett As long as Trump is in power we will be okay. But the British and Carney will throw the kitchen sink at it.
English

Carney this morning once again blaming tariffs for Honda canceling the EV project. This Government literally takes zero accountability for anything. So now what? Try and fix the auto sector with more of our money?
At this point Canadians want some sort of a deal. Any deal. Losing their jobs is not the “right deal for Canada”

@globalnews You’re so Lazy Global News. Can’t you at least have some creativity. Yawn.

@KirkLubimov When you have to borrow money for your so called wealth fund it kind of defeats the purpose as you have no wealth. Am I missing something?
English

Mark Carney announces a sovereign wealth fund: Canada Strong Fund.
It seems like it will be opened for Canadians to invest in it as well.
It's a good idea in general and many countries have a version of this. US under Donald Trump as well.
I rather Canada take ownership stake in strategic projects than foreign countries.
The problem is that Canada doesn't have "wealth" so the fund will be funded with more deficits, all while not getting rid of the red tape and rethoric that scares away private capital to begin with.
If this fund's capital execution has any net zero based assumptions then it be highly inappropriate and your sign for what this is really about.
English

@sarobertsonca Our loses our cost. Good one. How do we get a government that just governs and doesn’t hook us into spaceport type projects and investments
English

@Excellion @MarkJCarney Exactly Spaceport is the type of investments you can be guaranteed your government will make on your behalf. Thanks for reminding us
English

@MarkJCarney First, only countries with wealth have SWFs. Second, unless you fix the endemic corruption in the Canadian government, this is all going to more “spaceports” or $54M ArriveCAN apps.
English

@MarkJCarney No you set the environment for businesses so they want to invest but keep our tax dollars out of investing and backstopping companies trying to pick winner and loser companies. Stay in your lane man.
English

Let me see if I got this. So Canada will borrow money from ? (Not sure) at a good rate of ? (Not sure) to invest in companies our government thinks are good operators so we can have a part of the risk of said company and of course profit if the said company makes a profit. So Canada will become a business invester using the credit of its people and if they go broke because of bad investments the people of Canada lose but if the investments do well the public win somehow. Hy doesn’t our government just govern as that is supposed to be their area of expertise not business?

Ivermectin and Mebendazole Hit Cancer Cells Six Different Ways. Chemo Usually Hits One.
That's why combination chemotherapy exists — because cancer has to be attacked through multiple mechanisms simultaneously. Ivermectin and mebendazole together do exactly that: blocking cell division, cutting off glucose metabolism, targeting cancer stem cells, and more. Six distinct anti-cancer mechanisms in one affordable, already-approved combination.

This is Canada's rocket launch facility in NS.
The article says:
"Little more than a concrete shed pad at the end of a gravel road with two sea cans, Maritime Launch’s “Spaceport Nova Scotia” was recently lavished $20 million a year for 10 years by our federal government to further develop its facility...
They're boasting to investors that they can send rockets into space on “150+” launch days a year."
It's nothing more than a $200 million money laundering scam. Read the article to find out all the connections to Ukraine.
Our governments are so rupteur, and the citizens just allow it to happen.

@Andercot @LichTamara Can someone please create a ribbon cutting ceremony with our elbows up group on the pad.

You wouldn't believe the level of fraud going on with the Canadian government
Peter McCaffrey@peteremcc
I promise I am not joking... This is Canada's spaceport. Last month, the federal government paid $200 million to a company called Maritime Launch Services to lease it for 10 years.

@peteremcc @LichTamara You know most of this is syphon off money without questions. People are getting tired of the usual Ukraine hack.

Does anyone in Ottawa understand basic physics?
It's significantly easier (ie, cheaper) to launch to space from near the equator.
That's why Europe's space port is in French Guiana.
Anyone launching from Canada is either an idiot or expecting massive government subsidies.

Today, we introduced the Canadian Space Launch Act. 🇨🇦 This legislation will deliver sovereign space launch capabilities to Canada and help create a new $40 billion space launch industry in Canada. We’ve reached the moon, but now we can launch Canadian rockets from home.
