Need to get this off my chest: 15 years ago I sat by a pond and, saw to my a horror, a group of male mallard ducks team to gang-drown a fellow male mallard underwater. They almost succeeded, but then a few lost interest in fighting him to death and the mallard murder plot ended.

I saw a duck straight up getting raped at the park by two other ducks one time and then these geese kept attacking and tried to drown it. Easily the most disturbing display of animal behavior I’ve ever seen.
