What a fantastic afternoon taking part in the dance-a-thon

We have been learning about form. We drew roses and then we made them from play dough.

We have been learning about the importance of sleep. We have found out about tasks and routines that help us to sleep well and those that don’t. Children aged between 5 and 7 should be getting 10 or 11 hours of sleep each night.

We read about the life cycle of a snake. We then looked at snake skins that had been moulted.

The Positive Pandas and ⁦@Year2Bears⁩ had a wonderful visit from ⁦@RNLI⁩ to learn about staying safe at the coast.

We have been applying our understanding of positional language to a game.

We added more challenges and obstacles to make it even more difficult!

We have been learning about position and direction in Maths. We have been using ‘forwards, backwards, left and right’ in our commands.

We have been describing Ellie, Ellie’s father and Ellie’s mother as part of our work on The Diary of a Killer Cat.
