No es ni “ligero” ni “imaginativo” lo que mi familia y yo venimos recibiendo: son amenazas reales. Es comprensible sentir temor cuando sospechas que tu propia institución podría estar siguiéndote, quizá por encargo de investigados por corrupción. No denuncié lo ocurrido el 15 de agosto porque recién el 3 de septiembre, tras recibir otro mensaje amenazante, confirmé que un efectivo policial estuvo afuera de mi oficina por cinco horas. Amar a la institución no significa callar, sino señalar lo que está mal para que pueda corregirse. Como yo, muchos ciudadanos enfrentan al crimen y reciben respuestas indolentes como la de este comunicado. No busco desacreditar a la Policía, sino evidenciar que algunos altos mandos incluso podrían usar recursos y efectivos policiales para actuar de forma tendenciosa y malintencionada en favor de sus intereses.
