As you leave your home, please know that we are taking every step to keep your homes and property safe — not just from fire but from theft and vandalism. RCMP and Peace Officers are doing regular patrols, diligently ensuring communities are kept safe.

We are sad to confirm that one of our contract helicopters crashed yesterday evening while fighting wildfire EWF-075 in the Evansburg area. Our hearts go out to the loved ones of everyone involved. Alberta Wildfire is working with the RCMP and the TSB to investigate the cause.

@fstenson Wildwood Legion branch ran a Seniors Transportation Service for at least a decade. Bus & service were partly funded by Yellowhead & Parkland County. Instead of buying a new bus, funding from Yellowhead County was cancelled recently. Seniors Transportation Service is terminated.

If Alberta is a pair of pants with two pockets: provincial and municipal, J Kenney takes money out of the municipal pocket, puts it in the provincial pocket, and tells ABs they are better off.

@katiestanners @Lieutenant_Eric The Wildwood Rodeo in early June is great - it's the home of some of Canada's best rodeo riders including the Hay brothers (Logan and Dawson) and their dad Rod Hay (8-time Canadian Saddle Bronc Riding Champion.) And there's also the Entwistle Rodeo the last weekend in June.
