The White House put out an order to limit public communications from USG acknowledging Russia’s terror attacks on Ukraine, believing that these recognitions made Russia less likely to agree to a peace deal.
This isn’t just bad policy, it encourages Russia to keep attacking.

У Києві на цей момент 18 загиблих, десятки поранених. Дуже багато руйнувань та пошкоджень цивільної інфраструктури. А де хоч якась реакція США? Вона відсутня. Наче нічого не сталося. Навіть посольство не змогло за майже 12 годин нічого з себе видавити. Ось в такій новій реальності ми живемо. А ввечорі або завтра Трамп ще вийде та скаже, що "мир ніколи не був таким близьким" або подібну гидоту. Навіть "владімір стоп" з себе не видавили.

I am utterly amused how the US follows Russia in its failure to understand the Ukrainian agency. Threatening a nation that was starved, murdered, even nuked is really an unwise way to go. Ukrainians may have limited resources, but the guts go beyond the Western measurement scale

Zelensky took control of all Ukrainian media, prosecutes churches, businesses and volunteers, covered up corruption for his friends, uses “puppet” prosecutors to unlawfully imprison and intimidate anyone who tells the truth about his failures to defend his country or could be a potential political opponent, including his own military and generals who fought bravely on the frontlines to defend against the evil aggressor Putin - not doing theater performances in Kyiv. Fortunately, the Ukrainian people are not that stupid and seeing it now - Zelensky and many weak western leaders lost that war … at least for now …
