@RuhRoee @classicstevet @Awk20000 @accursedfarms @Dexerto @Twitch Then every private Server in existence should already be shutdown for that risk, but it is not.
English

@YOG3NSHA @classicstevet @Awk20000 @accursedfarms @Dexerto @Twitch Because you are only thinking as a consumer, not a stakeholder. Failure to enforce IP rights can destroy a company’s market share, having your brand associated with bad actors could destroy reputation. Privacy laws also still apply even if someone else is using your assets.
English

@classicstevet @Awk20000 @accursedfarms @Dexerto @Twitch If it does, then it needed a complete wipe in the first place. I don't see how offering private server assets or switching to p2p after EoS would cause any of that.
English

@Awk20000 @accursedfarms @Dexerto @Twitch Mark my words. If that vague petition becomes a vague law? Kiss gaming goodbye in the EU/UK. It will literally be the death of gaming
English

@Pirat_Nation So, all I am getting from this that it probably ain't gonna happen, because they can't control/censor it and that's somehow a bad thing. At the very least this exposes how backwards it all is.
English

@AyakaMods I wish I knew the reasoning on this one, however contrived and illogical it may be. They have literal nekkid mods but this is too much?
English

@SquareEnix It's pretty easy. What are the intentions of the person you want to introduce? Just to enjoy or to subvert and change it for the worse once they are in?
English

Do you love a game so much you’ve fallen into the trap of being a gatekeeper? Today’s Square Enix Blog reveals how one writer did just that – and why we can learn from the experience: sqex.link/53f266
How do you share the games you love with others?

English

@Corvus_Null @DEGMods Extremely disingenuous take. Modders will have to decide if they want creative freedom or not, can't have both. If some offensive mod prevents you from hosting your creation, then Nexus is the perfect place for you.
English

@YOG3NSHA @DEGMods "No one forces you to install mods you don't agree with"
Literally not even what we are talking about. I'm talking about how most mod authors wouldn't jump ship from Nexus to a platform where the only Skyrim mods so far are outright racism or crappy Fate/Grand Order weapons.
English

Nexus mods statement:
Due to the Online Safety Act and Digital Services Act, we are required as a UK-based company to ensure we continue to remove illegal content and add additional restrictions to children’s access to certain adult content.
As a business, this leaves us with a choice:
•Remove adult content for all UK and EU-based users.
•Make adjustments to our policy, including adding age verification for some adult content.

English

@Corvus_Null @DEGMods No one forces you to install mods you don't agree with. Mods have nothing to do with the developers of the game. If I had to choose, yeah I'd pick no moderation.
We don't need Nexus 2.0
English

@Corvus_Null @DEGMods If we play moral arbiter with mods, we're no better than the hypocrites at Nexus. We'd be at square one again, completely losing the point.
English

@DEGMods 99.9% of those mods are either poorly made or straight-up racist/sexist/ect. No actual mod author wants to be associated with that.
English

@Corvus_Null @Pirat_Nation @DEGMods It's a new website, you can't expect it to have the same selection as a decades old archive. It will grow.
English

@MadamSavvy A wall as fragile as someone's access to a VPN. Apparently US users will not have to go through this, but I still hope it helps alternatives rise in popularity.
English

International “powers” are going about things all wrong. We have a human behavioral problem in the form of parents letting the internet raise their kids.
But to solve that, we have to tackle work culture and the shift in single income households no longer being a viable option.
I dont think at this stage in humanity, children should have access to the internet at all. And i dont think anyone under the age of 25 should be allowed on social medias.
BUT.
I can see a realistic vision of the future where the EU is just blocked from 80% of the internet due to their own laws, and games stop selling there.
At a certain point, the censorship isnt worth it. We all know none of it is actually about children.
(And before anyone gives me that “they need the internet for education” homies thanks to covid, all our scores and reading is down. The internet is not going to fix that. On top of that, you can have learning modules for useful tech knowledge without needing access to youtube, red dead redemption, and twitter.)

@MHElTachi @Pirat_Nation Finally, an (actual) DOA fans who admit this! Thank you! I can see that you are indeed a true fan, compared to other who replied to me. Because you explained it very well.
English

@Vara_Dark One of the benefits of the PC platform is you can release stuff uncensored more easily than on console. Doing this completely nullifies that benefit and causes the exact opposite of excitement. Sad to see journos still hold so much sway despite their nonsense "opinions."
English

@EN_BlueArchive Nekopara is suffering the same fate, for 43 days now. Steam should go back to banning Anime games like they used to if this is the consistency we can expect from them. A waste of time and resources of everyone involved.
English

We will provide an update with the new release schedule through an official notice as soon as it is confirmed.
Thank you for your patience and support.

@Pirat_Nation Sometimes, a trailer tells you everything about a games success. FBC firebreak didn't need to exist.
English

Can anyone psychoanalyze this zoomer behavior? They will refuse to ancklowadge the obvious fanservice shows but will call you gooner for other shows that barely has anything sexual in it.
How does this make sense? why do they do this? Is it mass schizophrenia?
bee ♡@insanelyurusei
Ranma 1/2 is NOT a ecchi and as much i see it in the anime there’s not sexualization of characters you have no idea of what you talking about
English

@YOG3NSHA There are words for all of these in English. This was an extremely lazy translation by someone who didn't even have a basic understanding of the english language.
English

The "modern" anime fan hates learning or thinking for himself. He'd rather have things simplified until understanding them, even when the meaning ends up distorted and inaccurate.
TL notes are are awesome when something can not be directly translated or a joke would be lost.
Aocchi@Aochhii
bro just translate the fucking anime
