@Heritage Define what “recent years” means. Have you uncovered any fraud that would have changed an election? Have you discovered any fraud that is organized as part of some grand scheme?

@joncoopertweets Thrilled, but wondering if she will get anything done with a GOP-controlled Senate
English

@pablomartell @mcuban Two quick things:
1-Tariffs are a strategic tool (if used correctly), which Trump 1.0 did not do, but Biden has.
2-Across the board tariffs will lead to retaliatory tariffs from other nations. See farmers under Trump 2.0
English

Yes, Tariffs are paid by US companies, but the point is the Tariffs make something so much more expensive that it is no longer feasible to import.
Therefore, the Chinese market will be negatively impacted by less Revenue and forces the US to become more competitive.
How?
We innovate in the US, create opportunities by onshoring, or go to a better strategic trade partner.
Tariffs are a negotiating tool that can work very well if used correctly.
Trump understands this very well.....

@EdgeofSports You can’t be serious. Why not let the GOP-MAGA dictate the narrative for the next 49 days?
Get a grip! This week it’s Springfield, next week it’ll be Aurora, then it’ll be some other fiction designed to distract from tfg’s inability to govern or deliver a coherent thought

@jessplsss Yes, you’re right that the $35 copay for insulin only applies to Medicare beneficiaries. But you’re wrong on who’s truly working to make it available for all & the GOP Senators stripped it out of the IRA.
#VoteBlueDownBallott & make it available for all.

@GingerVieira BTW, from a daily banana consumer, your take on the complexity of figuring out banana carbs are spot on.
English

@GingerVieira Not to mention the glycemic index of skittles vs a banana. IOW, the carbs in skittles will act faster than the carbs in the banana.
English

This bag of Skittles can treat probably 20 low blood sugars. But non-diabetics will ask: “Why don’t you just eat something healthy, like a banana?”
I hate that question. It’s annoying. But here’s the answer:
Bananas are not ideal for treating low blood sugars because:
-their carb content is unpredictable / we don’t want to over treat our lows or we end up high
-they digest pretty slowly because of complex carbs vs simple carbs
-I might only need 6 grams of carbs for a mild low, a banana contains over 30 grams
-the ripeness of banana completely changes its sugar content
-I cannot store a whole bunch of bananas in my purse or my car or my nightstand or my pocket or my gym bag

I as a 13 Yr old had a viral infection in Oct 78, Dec 78 I was diagnoised as a #T1Diabetic
No history of T1 before or since in my family.
Could my #T1 have been caused by a #ViralInfection
Could be an answer for me to an Age Old Question I ask #WhyMe ?
Josie Clarkson@JosieClarkson8
Now at #EASD2024 @Teresa_IDF1 discusses how #viruses are associated with #Type1Diabetes 🦠 She acknowledges that this is a controversial topic but that now meta analyses are revealing that there is a link between certain viruses (called enteroviruses) and #T1D.

@mehdirhasan The moderators are stuck with acting as if he’s a normal candidate who will follow the rules agreed on, and when he doesn’t (or can’t because he’s unhinged), they say - we have to move on … no moderator has ever been able to control him.
English

The moderators are doing a good job EXCEPT they keep letting him have the last word.

@RepJackKimble When you say, "A lot of people said [Bob] was the best..." who are they, and isn't it true that it's just Bob saying this, and that they are saying (with tears in their eyes), "Sir, you were the best".
Also, didn't Bob have a bunch of his wacky customers attack the store?
English

Liberals, I have a friend named Bob. 8 years ago he worked at a video store and did a really good. A lot of people said he was the best video store employee ever, but the owner decided to hire a new guy and let him go. Bob got into some legal trouble and got convicted of over 30 felonies and lost a lawsuit over sexual assault charges, but Bob swears he didn’t do it and I see no reason why he would lie about this. Bob would like his old job at the video store back, should he get a second chance? Vote in the poll and then scroll down to get your mind blown.

@CBDemand @Bubblebathgirl @KamalaHQ For some Medicare Part D plans. Note, the plans that offered the cap were also ones with higher premiums.

You’re a damn liar!
- May 2005, Tim Walz retires from the National Guard
- July 2005, his unit receives alert orders for deployment
- September 2005, unit prepares for deployment
- March 2006, unit deploys

You know what really bothers me about Tim Walz? When the US Marine Corps asked me to go to Iraq to serve my country, I did it. When Tim Walz was asked by his country to go to Iraq, he dropped out of the Army and allowed his unit to go without him. I think that's shameful.
