If capitalism truly rewarded skill or intelligence, the richest people would be neurosurgeons, engineers, and scientists. If it rewarded talent, it would be artists, writers, and creators. If it rewarded hard work, it would be cleaners, laborers, and service workers. But it’s none of them.

I honestly think there’s a space for everyone in gaming. Just like there are co-eds, age 30+, younger tournaments, amateur, pro, female tournaments that allow trans players…
There’s nothing wrong with biological women wanting a space for themselves. Wanting to create a space for yourself isn’t transphobic.
It was a small little tournament put together by TEENS to have fun. Just like they wanted to host this tournament for biological women, instead of bashing them, just host one where trans women can play! It’s really that simple.

My god, trans person here! I'm so sick and tired of this. Having a biological women's tournament isn't transphobic; they want biological women only for this, which keeps it 100% fair. We don't know the differences yet fully with us trans people. Cause at the end of the day, trans women are still biologically male, that's a fact.

The announcement of a girls-only Valorant 5v5 tournament has caused some backlash. The event offers a 5000 VP prize per team and is only open to biological female players. People are upset about two things: First, the poster was made with AI. Many say the organizers should have hired real artists from the big Valorant art community instead. Second, the rule that keeps out trans women. This has led to claims of transphobia and calls to boycott the event.

The whole reason I love competing in esports rather than actual sports is because there is no biological advantage/disadvantage to playing video games.
So I don’t understand the reasoning behind excluding trans women in this.
