It’s remarkable that we now live in a country where Reform brazenly announce that if they win power nationally they will punish areas of the country that didn’t vote for them. Let that sink in, and make sure Reform never get that opportunity

Two days until the election and the choice is clear. I want to urgently cut the cost of living, with lower bus fares and cheaper essential foods, and secure the fresh start of independence for Scotland. Other parties only talk about stopping us. #BothVotesSNP this Thursday. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I may not agree with Green voters, but deliberately placing deportation centres in areas that vote against you as political punishment is vindictive and counterproductive. You don’t win people over by threatening them. It’ll also put people in serious danger.
Nigel Farage MP@Nigel_Farage

If you vote Reform you will not have an illegal migrant deportation facility in your area. We will hold migrants awaiting deportation in constituencies that vote Green instead. You get what you vote for.

Channel crossings down by a third, boats seized, routes disrupted. You’d think the people who shout loudest about this would be celebrating. Funny how quiet it’s gone.

@DPJHodges Detaining and deporting new arrivals is the only policy that will deter people paying to get on the boats. Why bother paying £1,500 to get to Britain when you'll be locked up and then sent packing? The Channel boats market will collapse within weeks.

One positive thing I would say about Reform's new policy. At least they're finally being honest about the fact they don't have a solution that involves actually turning back the boats at source.

The reason why the media don’t report Labour success stories is because they don’t want you to know about them. They didn’t report Tory success stories because there weren’t any. But they were fine with that.

Small boat crossings down 42% in 2026 over the same period in 2025. Fact, not feeling. This is very bad news for the far right. Also a fact.

No actually. I'm happy now being in a party with 403 MPs that's delivering on climate change, with an Energy Secretary in Ed Miliband who is doing more to shift us away from fossil fuel reliance than any politician since the industrial revolution.

Not just Labour MPs but almost all Labour members are calling for an end to the endless drama of leadership speculation, including by the media!
Pippa Crerar@PippaCrerar

NEW: Labour MPs are calling for end to “endless drama” of leadership speculation, with some warning that repeated briefings about toppling Keir Starmer are putting off voters, @peterwalker99 reports. “All people want is a government which works, and not the endless drama. We are in a very tricky global situation, and to have this never-ending conversation about who might have a certain number of supporters feels extremely self-indulgent,” says one MP. Worries are shared even among some who strongly believe Starmer should be replaced. “You can both think the PM isn’t the right man to lead us into the next election and that now isn’t the right time to replace him." theguardian.com/politics/2026/…

The major event of the next fortnight will be the King's Speech on 13th. May. Watch out for a set of major radical proposals to be introduced by Keir Starmer's Labour Government. Then the media will have real news, not gossip and speculation, to report.

While others are talking about stopping us, we’ve been focusing on Scotland. We will cut the cost of living, make it easier to see your GP, and secure Scotland’s choice of independence. If you want to make it happen, you’ve got to vote for it on Thursday. #BothVotesSNP

Tackling the costing of living, cutting hospital waiting lists, lifting half a million children out of poverty, wages are going up and new rights for workers and renters are coming in on Friday. All good Labour things the government is doing, and there’s so much more to come👇🏻 stephenmorgan.org.uk/a-reflection-o…
