@TruthsServed @MattMorseTV Well I just disagree, the country was built on people from all over the world coming to the country to try and create a better life in the “land of the free”.

@Yameswow @MattMorseTV If the goal of our immigration system was to make this country better then the sentiment would be different. But, politicians have made the goal of immigration to take anybody who wants to come from impoverished 3rd world countries. That was never what this country was about.

Xenophobia is a good thing and I'm tired of pretending that it's not. When I'm walking my dog in the morning, I don't want to hear the Islamic prayer echoing throughout the neighborhood. When I'm riding on the city bus, I don't want to be surrounded by dozens of people that can't even speak my language. When I'm walking through downtown, I don't want to be accosted by violent, culturally-incompatible foreigners. When I'm applying for a job, I don't want to compete against recently-imported third-world laborers that are willing to work for $2.25 an hour. When I have an emergency and I need to call 9-11, I don't want to have to press '1' for an English operator. When I send my children to public school, I don't want them to have to navigate around foreign, ethnically-oriented gangs. But perhaps most importantly, frankly, I'm just tired of being surrounded by people that very clearly have nothing but hate and disdain for both me and my ancestors; the men and women that built this country in this first place.

@Abominable03 @MattMorseTV You can do whatever you’d like, but why choose hate is the better question. Hatred is a cancer that spreads, just seems odd to hate someone for not looking like or being like you and to not expect for the feeling to be reciprocated.

It’s an imaginary land you live in that has painted people that don’t look like you as a villain when choosing hate is the true villainy
