@JimMoran19 @avshaq @TalkinYanks 66% correctly called strikes that night, he was awful and I’m sure the catcher reaching over just set Boone off. Kind of just boiled over imo.
English

@avshaq @TalkinYanks Looked like strike 3, nowhere near the mark Boone made away from the plate. Didn't see the earlier stuff, so can't comment on the overall here.

@DONNIE_DINGO @timmyb72 @YankeeSource What’s your definitions of a losing season? To us Yankee fans that can be split either between missing the playoffs and not winning the WS. “Winning product” is a subjective term. Give some context.
English

@timmyb72 @YankeeSource They haven't had a losing season in how long ?
English

Yankees fans take a lot of heat for being too passionate and showing frustration at the performance but the fan base shows up. 41,135 average attendance this year. They are spending plenty of $$$ on the team so being upset about the product is their right. Paying a premium comes with giving fans an entertaining product.
Average road attendance: 34,147 (highest in MLB)
Average home attendance: 41,135 (3rd highest in MLB)
Average ticket price: $186 (2nd highest in MLB)

@riotgames @PlayVALORANT Tell me why I get punished for playing 3 ranked games where each game a teammate abandons and leaves. Why do I lose 20+ RR even though I top drag and go positive. Why is it my fault they leave and throw the game. Explain it to me.

@jtaylorlsm6 @tom_karnes @doctor2pi @DrEddiesClass @Tech_Buddha @Ststansberry @Duncannedd @BarnellNicole Peer teaching is so important to show the students understanding of a subject. I can think of something like making a short PowerPoint on a small subject for the class could be a great starting point.
English

@tom_karnes @doctor2pi @DrEddiesClass @Tech_Buddha @Ststansberry @Duncannedd @BarnellNicole A4) One way that could be fun is to have students share their favorite tech tools with one another (coding, social media, etc.). The student will reinforce their understanding by teaching it and have an engaging conversation with their peers. @Duncannedd #CSUBTED #csubedte4200

@Clutch_Sandoval @tom_karnes @doctor2pi @DrEddiesClass @Tech_Buddha @Ststansberry @Duncannedd @BarnellNicole I myself have used quizlet so many times and it’s definitely something I would recommend to people especially those who don’t have time to make flash cards.
English

@tom_karnes @doctor2pi @DrEddiesClass @Tech_Buddha @Ststansberry @Duncannedd @BarnellNicole A4) Creating a competition based game online or using competitive softwares and websites can really get a lot of students into learning. Make them more lesson based than grade based to help those students who struggle. #CSUBTED #csubedte4200 @doctor2pi

@evelynnunm @Ststansberry @doctor2pi @DrEddiesClass @Tech_Buddha @Duncannedd @tom_karnes @BarnellNicole I love using YouTube because you can find so many different various videos on the same subject that can explain it in different ways. Very helpful!

@mary65142504 @Ststansberry @doctor2pi @DrEddiesClass @Tech_Buddha @Duncannedd @tom_karnes @BarnellNicole I always try and incorporate videos to deepen my students understand. Straight lecture is just too boring for anyone regardless of age.
English

@Ststansberry @doctor2pi @DrEddiesClass @Tech_Buddha @Duncannedd @tom_karnes @BarnellNicole A3) We can use technology to deepen the understanding of a subject by applying videos or kahoot. These tools will deepen students knowledge.#CSUBTED #csubedte4200 @Duncannedd
English

@Ststansberry @doctor2pi @DrEddiesClass @Tech_Buddha @Duncannedd @tom_karnes @BarnellNicole A3) I use videos in conjunction with lecture and in-person teaching. I use it as an extra help like an extra way of explaining a certain thing because some students may not understand how I’m explaining it. #CSUBTED #csubedte4200 @doctor2pi
English

@deliasclassroom @Tech_Buddha @doctor2pi @DrEddiesClass @Ststansberry @Duncannedd @tom_karnes @BarnellNicole @CSUBakersfield @csubted @CSUBEdAdmin I tend to forget text to speech is a thing but wow it’s super helpful for those who have trouble with vision. I like how you mention quizlet as well to help those who are hard of hearing
English

@Tech_Buddha @doctor2pi @DrEddiesClass @Ststansberry @Duncannedd @tom_karnes @BarnellNicole @CSUBakersfield @csubted @CSUBEdAdmin A2) I would use assistive technology in the form of text-to-speech devices or magnification screens etc. for students with disabilities while using visual aids when teaching. Sites like Quizlet help by reading the words outloud and making use of fun games #CSUBTED #csubedte4200
English

@Cgarcia00000 @Tech_Buddha @doctor2pi @DrEddiesClass @Ststansberry @Duncannedd @tom_karnes @BarnellNicole @CSUBakersfield @csubted @CSUBEdAdmin I too mentioned the videos with picture but color coding. That’s very interesting and definitely could see that being implemented in class.
English

@Tech_Buddha @doctor2pi @DrEddiesClass @Ststansberry @Duncannedd @tom_karnes @BarnellNicole @CSUBakersfield @csubted @CSUBEdAdmin I will implement videos from YouTube and other applications using primarily pictures to help all students visualize their own learning. I also plan to also use color coding on different sites to help students distinguish different materials.#CSUBted #csubedte4200 @Ststansberry
English

@Tech_Buddha @doctor2pi @DrEddiesClass @Ststansberry @Duncannedd @tom_karnes @BarnellNicole @CSUBakersfield @csubted @CSUBEdAdmin A)2 I would incorporate videos that have subtitles in different languages or try and find videos that show instructor with little to no words in them. I think videos with pictures are alway great for those that struggle to learn @csubted @csubedte4200 @doctor2pi
English

@DavisDecker3 @doctor2pi I absolutely love using Kahoot when helping my nephews and nieces with their homework. And naturally kids are very competitive so that also proves to be helpful in getting the best out of them!
English

@Raychelm9 @doctor2pi I really liked how you mention the parents. Getting them involved is definitely something that can benefit the students in the long run making sure the parents understand what the students are doing and learning in class.
English

@doctor2pi A1) I believe technology within the classroom setting is a great tool. Not only can you find fun, informative, and interesting videos on Youtube to show students. You can also have parents included within the classrom by using Remind. So they also are up to date with is happening
English

@doctor2pi A1) I think technology is great for students in this generation. Being able to use something like google classroom and being able to link instructional videos or worksheets can prove to be super viable to getting the most from the students. #CSUBTED #csubedte4200 @doctor2pi
