Chaîne de restaurant déjeuner au nom tout ce qu’il y a de plus québécois. Rue Ste-Catherine à Montréal. Le staff à la capacité de parler français. Mais entre eux, aux tables partout autour, la langue commune, de travail, c’est l’anglais. Métropole francophone d’Amérique? Plus maintenant.

Le pape cite le Liban comme un exemple de « coexistence » pacifique entre Chrétiens et Musulmans. L’ironie est que le Liban a été créé au départ pour être la patrie exclusive des Chrétiens persécutés au Moyen-Orient. Et de fait, il l’a été pendant quelques décennies. Le moment où les envahisseurs musulmans ont pensé avoir le nombre en leur faveur, ils ont déclenché une guerre civile qui a duré 15 ans parce qu’ils ne voulaient pas vivre avec ces mêmes Chrétiens qui les avaient intégrés au pays. Des milliers de Chrétiens ont été massacrés, les Musulmans sont devenus la majorité, le Hezbollah a pris le contrôle, et le pays n’a plus connu la paix depuis. Le Liban est le premier et ultime exemple que la coexistence entre Chrétiens libres et musulmans est tout bonnement impossible. C’est stupéfiant d’utiliser le Liban comme exemple de coexistence, et encore plus quand c’est moins le pape qui le fait.

Ever wonder what would happen if Islam were to win? I’m not talking about the war in Israel. I’m talking about the war on Earth. The war of Islam vs the West. The war against our civilization. If their objectives were ever realized there would be a global caliphate, an Islamic state across the globe governed by Sharia law. There would be exactly one religion. Yeah. You guessed it. Islam. No freedom to practice other religions. Those who are allowed to remain living would be converted. Or they wouldn’t be allowed to remain living. Female? Burqas for everyone! And say bye bye to rights. Work? No. Study? Nein. Drive? Nyet. Chances are female circumcision would be mandatory, so goodbye to sexual pleasure as well. Freedoms? HAH! Not a fucking chance. Praying 5 times/day. All food strictly halal. Your entire life governed by the Q-book. Nothing is wrong with that for people who choose it. But this will be enforced. For everyone. Public lashings for those who don’t follow it. Or death. Queer? Better not tell anyone, otherwise you get your 72 “virgins” much sooner than you thought (spoiler alert: they’re actually raisins and not virgins). Roof party! Arts? Hellllllooooo censors! Music. Movies. Literature. Theatre. All muted by what’s “acceptable”. By what the grand poobah says you’re allowed to see/hear/read. Critical thinking is likely a thing of the past too. Historical preservation? Gone. ISIS showed the world how they wish to wipe out anything with historical significance. Any monuments, structures, art, etc. would be destroyed, as Islam wants a world with no reference to anything non-Islamic. Any other cultures would literally be wiped from history. Innovation? LOL! By who? For a religion that has as many people on this planet as they do, they don’t seem to be known for innovation. What have they invented? What breakthroughs have they been responsible for in medicine? Tech? Anything? Their plans for Israel included keeping the “smartest people” alive, so they’re aware this might not be their strong suit. Peace? Not a chance. Do you know who unalives more Muslims than anyone else? You guessed it. Muslims. Fighting between different sects and classes has been going on for centuries. Why would it change now? Yeah. I know. I don’t paint a pretty picture. And while some details might not be exact (I didn’t even mention the child brides), suffice to say life would be pretty bad. And guess what? THIS is what Israel is fighting. Not just for their own survival. For all of ours. This is why we must all stand with Israel. Each and every person, who does not want the world to look this way.
