Extremely disappointing to see elected officials supporting claims that are blatantly wrong: 96th would be an offset bus lane that won’t impact parking or loading, & fines are $50 not $250 and require 2 buses to take a picture so don’t ticket brief stops ilovetheupperwestside.com/dots-96th-stre…

@nycemergencymgt That sounds bad. Somebody should do something about this. Is there a plan to tackle congestion? Something soft maybe, like an incentive structure?

Ground-level ozone, a harmful air pollutant, forms when volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and nitrogen oxides (NOx), primarily emitted by motor vehicles, react in the presence of sunlight. Mass transportation can reduce these emissions and protect air quality.

After listening to concerns from residents, Governor Hochul's decision to pause congestion pricing is the right one. While congestion pricing helps tackle reducing emissions related to overcrowding and the climate crisis, we still need to address how congestion pricing will affect our most vulnerable and outerborough communities. The reality is our residents are struggling to overcome the challenges of inflation while utilizing a transportation system that needs serious infrastructure improvements. Our goal has always been to get this program right, and as of now I don't believe we have done that. I look forward to working with Governor Hochul and my colleagues in the legislature to get it done so we all can

People discourage rhetorical citations (cite to support the author's claim), and believe if all citations came from those that truly inspired authors (substantive), the community would be better. Is that true? In a new @NatureComms paper with @MishaTeplitskiy, we test it (1/n):
