Introducing DolphinGemma, an LLM fine-tuned on many years of dolphin sound data 🐬 to help advance scientific discovery. We collaborated with @dolphinproject to train a model that learns vocal patterns to predict what sound they might make next. It’s small enough (~400M params) to run directly on Pixel 9 phones used in the ocean! A very cool step toward enabling interspecies communication.

Could be the craziest AI agent we've deployed yet — talks with customers of an energy company, schedules calls with them, and actually leads the calls itself to schedule solar panel installations fully autonomously People don't understand what is *already in prod*

working at a solana startup has got to be wild you're writing code, managing on-call, building features, finding users, replying on slack, preventing hacks and doing standups(?) whereas X is filled with bag wars, victory laps, the next meta and general brain rot you need a doctors' discipline to avoid fomo, retain focus and continue building. it isn't this bad at tech startups in general because they're organised around a company not a shared piece of tech and finance as a result, lot of crypto native new hires underperform/quit or founders often prefer to hire from outside the ct bubble especially for inward facing roles both are less than ideal and come with their own tradeoffs. but one thing is certain there's career alpha for anyone who is crypto native AND is able to show focus through the noise

when @akshaybd and i cooked up the Ecosystem Call, solana was a laughing stock ftx dead. sol at $13. everyone broke. we wanted to show that @superteam and the solana builders weren't giving up 90 viewers on that 1st call. tens of thousands on the last one study conviction.

Future of software will have 3 layers: - ephemeral experiences generated on the fly for users (replacing applications) - AI agents with semantic understanding of requests and ability to do services (replacing backends and APIs) - global shared state smart contracts, especially for various markets Across the stack there will be formal verification enabling to enforce set of conditions directly from the user's device to ensure that every action happening is within expectations. AI-powered formal verification will be the main enabler for trustless composability of agents and global smart contracts as it allows to ensure that whatever permissions user gives will be within expectations defined by high level conditions like "not loosing user's money" or "within X time only Y will happen".

We've all seen the buzz around the #Coldplayindia concert in India—on one side, some lucky fans managed to grab tickets, while a frustrated majority were left empty-handed. One of the biggest issue pointed out, lack of trust in the queuing and ticket sales system. A thread on possible solutions👇

I think about spaced repetition forgetting curves for marketing/branding absolutely all of the time. Did you just launch? You need to get in front of people again at 2, 7, 30 and 60 days later if you don't want to be forgotten. This is the stuff brands are built on.

Walk. Always walk. Walk with no goal. No destination. No timeline. Walk with friends. Walk alone. Walk with music. Walk with silence. Walk the long way. Walk without your phone. Walk when you don't know what to do next. Because somehow, walking shows you exactly where to go.
