They do not need to charge for online multiplayer, they’d still have Game Pass, the store cut and selling games, if that isn’t enough they just suck at business.

@Pirat_Nation Required subscriptions for consoles was a mistake. When they were cheap enough to pay a year in advance and forget about it wasn’t so bad, maybe for your first console a selection of games each month is good value, not really if you already have a backlog.
