@YayAmyPay 7- on self-doubt, try to stick to trial and error. Like if a coping strategy says "Autistic" but it seems good & plausible to apply it your situation, even if you otherwise don't see much Aut. about yourself - the strategy may still be effective. /I'll cut the rambling now!

@TheCGNerd I get your caution re medication for mental health issues. More often than not, meds alone are not the answer; you need a whole package of support, but sadly that isn't always available on NHS. I imagine it's the same re using meds to help with neurodivergent-related issues 😕

@TheCGNerd It's very tricky to know what to do! A formal diagnosis would potentially clarify things, but what I'd really like is some help with figuring out how to prevent v hard periods of brain fog/noisy head/confusion. I don't even know if medication exists!

So, yup, I recognise now that I'm neurologically different. I don't think like most other people. I'm not sure where to go from here. Maybe knowing I'm #ActuallyAutistic/#ADHD will help me understand my mental spaghetti better?🤷🏻‍♀️Thoughts? Advice? Heartwarming capybara pics?

It gets too loud in my head. I can't 9-5. I often don't get it, or I fear I'm not being understood when I rabbit on. Some days rock. Others are no goes where I need to switch off adulting and play video games (sooo soothing) or do some other seemingly pointless thing to reset.
