Today, at the vibrant Kafanchan Township Stadium, I had the honour of welcoming a remarkable wave of distinguished leaders and citizens from Southern Kaduna who have freely chosen to join the All Progressives Congress (APC). Their decision fills me with great pride and optimism, as it reflects a growing trust in the APC’s enduring values of justice, inclusiveness, accountability, and progress. From the onset, our administration has been deliberate in promoting inclusiveness through strategic investments in infrastructure, agriculture, education, healthcare, and community development. We have ensured that progress reaches every corner irrespective of ethnic, religious, or political affiliation. Peace and development are inseparable twins, and I am grateful to the people of Southern Kaduna for embracing the Kaduna Peace Model. Today, I am proud to say that no single elected official from Southern Kaduna is in the opposition, both at state and federal levels; a powerful testament to our shared unity, inclusivity, and the even spread of development across our state. The MOU for the actualization of the SMART CITY PROJECT in Kaduna State is geared towards establishing State-Level Unified Command Center, Smart Education, Smart Healthcare, enhancing Security, Intelligent Traffic System, E-Government and Office Automation, ICT Talent, Renewable Energy and Public Transportation. The ultimate goal is the establishment of a safer and smarter Kaduna State.

Our vision with this Waste Management Plan is to become one of the nation's cleanest cities, paving the way for more sustainable development in other sectors.
