If you’re building with Claude Code, your app still needs a backend that can handle real users, data, and scale. A reliable backend ensures your app continues to work smoothly as it grows.
In this guide, we walk through how to set up a complete backend with Appwrite, including authentication, databases, storage, and serverless functions, so your app runs reliably with fewer issues over time.
Everything your app needs to move beyond a prototype and allow you to focus on the business logic.

@brockpierson 20yrs on Linux, can't Window's, switching btwn Mac & Linux is q breeze since they're both Unix you don't need to learn anything new! Windows if you force a shutdown it crashes! 😂😂 You install a driver and reboot,! BSOD😃
English

@SakshiSugandhi @aidevkez Then you haven't looked in npm cache folder 📁 if new npm command can't find in the cache dependencies of the current install, it'll download only that, the rest comes from the cache
English

@Yazdani77 @aidevkez Yeah so basically pnpm doesnt reinstall same packages again and again like npm does. It keeps a global store and just links stuff from there so installs are way faster and also uses less space
English

@aidevkez I'll choose pnpm because it just works faster
English

@WatinTechFitDo @AlfinCodes There's a "last" in the error msg! Which tell you to scroll to the bottom of the error msg to know what caused the error and read backwards
English

@AlfinCodes Because “beginner friendly” doesn’t mean “frustration free” 😂
Python is easy to read, but debugging your own mistakes as a beginner still feels like arguing with a machine that knows you’re wrong but won’t tell you why.

@shashank_sindhe @ayesha_fatiima Majority go back(well not really) to 🪟 just bcz of a game not work! I dual boot win 11 & Linux but I spend 99% of my time in Linux, 1% on windows for church presentations bcz it's software fails to Finnish installation in linux
English

@ayesha_fatiima App compatibility (Adobe, games, MS Office quirks)
Hardware/drivers (GPU, printers, random bugs) easier on Windows
English

@shashank_sindhe @ayesha_fatiima Wine lets me install or run windows apps including Microsoft office (just out of fun), I installed MS Flight simulator X, I runs great, I run Blurr, NFS! Right in Linux
English

@shashank_sindhe @ayesha_fatiima Linux comes with nearly every driver! It's windows that need drivers for every new device! I have Bluestar Linux(Arch) I can plug in an HP, Lexmark or any printer and it works out of the box! Windows😆 find the CD or download drivers, no-one need Adobe reader on Linux!
English

@ayesha_fatiima Just to check the hype! And it's not going back! once on Linux always on Linux, windows no matter if you increase RAM, it proportionally eats more RAM at idle, LINUX only uses 750Mb at idle whether you go from 8GB to 24GB it remains 750Mb! Do yeah!
English

@Surendar__05 Are you for real⁉️ @appwrite is the Kahuna right now only Google apps use firebase 😜
English

@ritu_twts A Door 🚪 to escape windows! Then install a fortified Guantanamo island(LINUX)
English

@ShizuoDai1 @kaaaash____ You're mixing things , M chip compared to windows really? You're comparing hardware to software! Window's is software but you're bringing in hardware! Which seals the difference in platforms! Window's eats about 40% of RAM at idle, Linux just 1% even less than iOS
English

@kaaaash____ It’s because of the operating system and the chip it has. Apple was more efficient than windows when they used the intel chips, now they use their own M chip and it’s even better. But it depends why you use it for. Apple is not that great for gaming for example.
