We popped into Hull Minister today and was given a guided tour around the artefacts inside. It was amazing to see some of the items we have been learning about in R.E this year. @PrimaryGreat #DANCE

What an amazing day we have had learning all about Ancient Egypt at the Hands on History Museum in Hull! We saw a real Mummy, handled lots of different replica artefacts and even mummified a child in our class! @PrimaryGreat #DANCE

6 weeks ago we collected some wild flowers around school and pressed them in our flower press. Today we displayed them in clear plastic to make a bookmark and drew what we could see. We used water colour pens to finish our artwork. @PrimaryGreat #gcpscience #gcpart

In English, we are writing instructions for our last text of the year, Jumanji. We are designing and creating board games so will include maths ( making 3D shapes from nets) and DT when we use a pivot to shoot our tokens at the end to win the game. @PrimaryGreat #crosscuricular

Today is Dream Big Day. We have been exploring different jobs such as shop keepers, vets, dentists, hairdressers, dancers, firefighters. We also played a game to guess the occupation. We made our dream big stars of what we want to be when we are older.@PrimaryGreat #DreamBigDay

𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗘𝗦 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲! If ever there was a moment that encapsulated the culture, ethos and collective ambition of Team Healing, it was the one we shared this past weekend. On Friday evening, members of our team sat in London at the prestigious Tes magazine Schools Awards.. We were incredibly proud simply to be shortlisted alongside some of the finest schools in the United Kingdom. It is with absolute delight, pride and humility that I write to share the news that Healing Academy has officially been named the national Tes Inclusive School of the Year 2026! This is the ultimate national validation of our core mission. Being named the most inclusive school in the country validates our daily commitment to success and happiness for ALL. An award of this magnitude does not happen in isolation. It is the result of the dedication of our exceptional staff and our brilliant pupils. This achievement is a direct reflection of our DANCE values in action: Delight & Joy: Celebrating the unique milestones, happiness and achievements of everyone in our community  Ambition: Championing high aspirations for every member of our staff and students, regardless of their starting point, by refusing to put limits on what anyone can achieve Nurture: Creating an environment where pupils are known, cared for and supported through life’s transitions. Community: Recognising our strength in serving our community. This award is a testament to the connection between our school, our families, and our wider partners, proving that when we stand together as one community, there is no limit to what we can achieve. Empower: Empowering all of our community including staff, students, and families I would also like to thank our CEO Richard Briggs and Harbour Learning Trust colleagues, Local Academy Council Chair Paul Fieldgate and Chair of Trustees Chris Cherry for their leadership support, as well as our community, sixth form colleges, apprenticeship providers as well as local, regional and national organisations who work with us. Thank you to everyone who has also taken the time to message me. I still can't quite believe it. I know we still have work to do, but we also need to acknowledge the journey we have been on. This award belongs to ALL of us. Mr Logan Principal #TeamHealing #TesAwards
