In a resounding display of solidarity, Edmonton Public Library members of CSU 52 have overwhelmingly voted in favour of a strike mandate. With an impressive 93% voter turnout, an astonishing 94% of members have voted in support of a strike mandate. Strike mandate voting for CSU 52 City of Edmonton members is currently underway and ends on Monday at 3PM.

@j1ggy @TheBreakdownAB Schedules are made up years in advance & planned around all the other assets. It involves things like taking the entire turbine apart to replace & repair parts. You don’t just change your mind part way through. Every asset in the province is in the planned outage schedule.

@yelbihs @jonathan_common @TheBreakdownAB Both units are in the process of commissioning to come online. It takes the amount of time required to do so safely. Neither unit is ready for full generation.

@jonathan_common @TheBreakdownAB They don’t make the list til they’re online but I think you’re right, they’re still working on getting them up and running. Weird though because CAS 1 has produced power but only like 30 MW max in the last week or so, and CAS 2 has yet to contribute anything.
