@OpeBee This is just like the President is bereft of ideas in tackling security issues headon as the CinC? I agree that for the fact that Governors are collecting security votes thay are culpable but the failure of FG is so glaring that no state can do better. Amotekun =AK47

What happened in Oyo state is heart breaking. Some of us have been warning about this for months. It’s been one too many attacks on Oyo state and the governor seems to be bereft of ideas. SW governors had a Security summit last year with several resolutions. How far with the implementation?. 💔

He knows some Nigerian Youths are too gullible, so he is saying everything just to look upright in their eyes. The fight against terrorism is not a Jumong character or does he think presidency is about Idris Elba character of being a president and still fight armed groups. He clearly does not know the role of a president, he just wants to mark his name on the history book.

Elon Musk has just paid and I am in the mood to share 20% of the earnings to the answer with most likes. I will pick the winner by 8pm today. Question: A used toy gun to rob B. A was arrested the next day. What will A be charged for? Robbery or armed robbery? Remember, a toy gun was used. Law students and lawyers are not allowed to participate.

Hey Chief, we’d like to clarify something as supporters of Peter Obi. We don’t support Obi in a blind or personal way. What we truly support are his principles. That’s what draws us to him. If Obi doesn’t get the mandate, we will not support Atiku. At least, I won’t. We are not political loyalists; we are national pragmatists. We evaluate political choices based on their outcomes for the nation. We don’t engage in politics for its own sake. To us, politics is a means, not an end. So, we have no obligation to support Atiku. If he emerges as the flagbearer, it is highly likely Obi will leave. With that, our affiliation with the party ends as well. I can already see APC supporters retweeting this, which suggests your tweet may have come from a questionable place. But that’s beside the point. You’re entitled to your opinion. However, let us make one thing clear. We are the majority. Peter Obi is currently the most consequential politician in Nigeria. He has momentum, the trust of the people, and national goodwill. These aren’t just my words. They were echoed by Ayo Fayose in a recent interview with Ruben Abati. Obi is the political lifeblood of any party he joins. He did it with LP, and now we are seeing similar dynamics with ADC. Fayose even stated that ADC would be unwise not to give him the ticket. All of this is to say that Peter Obi’s supporters will not back any candidate other than Peter Gregory Obi. Any attempt to impose a different choice on us is unrealistic. We determine our political direction, not APC spokespeople, like you.
Akin Akinwale@mrlurvy

That was a strong resolution in Ibadan, everyone agreeing to rally behind a single candidate. Good to see the excitement from Atiku supporters and OBidients as well. To the Atikulates, if Peter Obi clinches the coalition’s presidential ticket, there should be no complaints, stand firmly behind him. To the OBidients: the same applies. If Atiku emerges as the flagbearer, no outrage or insults, support him and respect the process. God will punish anybody that goes against this agreement o. Let us agree now o. Ehn ehn

Congratulations! But giving thanks and appreciation to the government that has made it impossible for your family to come out of poverty and gotten 20 times poorer than you were before, you're just an educated slave. Your going to school hasn't enlightened you to know the difference between grant and loan and yet, you're thanking a failed government for enslaving you. And by way, your parents who have struggled to get you down against all odds don't deserve your appreciation right? You're just an attention seeker, that's what you are and why you're here thanking a failed government. You're getting it already since someone already got you a blue tick. Clout chaser is what you really are.

Amid the flood of felicitations following my convocation as Overall Best Graduating Student of LAUTECH, I find it necessary to address the stir around my NELFUND appreciation post. I accept the praise, life changing offers and the backlash, in good faith. Still, it is only fair to set the record straight. I hail from a village in Osun State, raised in a modest family of five. I attended public primary and secondary schools, not by choice, but because even the most inexpensive private schools were beyond our means. Even then, survival itself; food and clothing was a daily struggle. I walked miles to school each morning, while my parents laboured as jacks-of-all-trades to make ends meet. For nine defining years before I entered university, we lived within sight of basic amenities yet beyond our reach, no electricity, no television; just lanterns and candles. Against these odds, I earned a scholarship and now this distinction. In my third year, a coursemate’s father, someone I had once tutored academically, gifted me my first smartphone which I am still using till now. On several occasions, lecturers, moved by quiet compassion, provided me with clothing. There are many other instances, too numerous to recount. So, I say this plainly, not all of us are born with a silver spoon. Some of us climbed the ladder by holding on to every rung of legitimate support we could find. As an engineering student aspiring to make academic history, should I resort myself to blaming my family’s financial situation for my inability to afford fees and essentials like a reliable smartphone or laptop needed for skills and certifications? For me personally, NELFUND was not incidental; it was instrumental and to acknowledge what helped one’s journey is neither propaganda nor misplaced allegiance. It is simply an act of appreciation. Thank you @NELFUND and everyone that contributed to this success! Greatness awaits all of Us.
