I was fast enough and I was right📈 The YT-xSOL token is very risky though and I guess many user don't know how it works. Continue reading, if you are one those ⬇️ RateX is a margin and spot yield trading protocol. I provided tokenized versions of the expected yield. ✍️ Let's have a look at some terms used: - YBA = Yield bearing asset - ST = Standard Token - 1 YT = All future rewards (points included) from 1 ST worth of underlying asset. - 1 PT = the principal portion of a Yield-Bearing Asset, at maturity, equivalent to the same amount of the corresponding ST - Implied Yield = expected return of a YBA TL;DR 📝 You trade your invest against a huge XP boost. Expect loss! What did I actually invest in? A YT token represents the accumulated Yield of an YBA until maturity date. This means its a time-decaying asset! As the term shortens, the value of YT gradually trends towards zero. This happens because the YT consistently pays out yield to its holder, reducing the remaining future yield over time. The price is determined by how much yield the market expects that asset to generate until maturity. The higher the expected yield, the more valuable the YT becomes. You can also see it in this chart: 👀 - The price naturally declines - We had a pump now because of Liquidity entering - The price will fall again How to make profit? 💰 - You buy at low implied yield, and the actually yield is bigger = you make profit from yield rewards - Buy low implied yield and sell if it get's higher - LP = you can also add YT+PT to the market and earn market fees
