Sure let's get things straight. The $FET tokens belonged to $FET and the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance. They were set aside for migrations into the $FET token and also rewards for participants. The ratio in which Ocean joined the alliance was determined at the time of the deal. Things changed since then. The value of the tokens and market capitalization of the project has changed. It's safe to say that when they decided to leave the Alliance, without warning, their "share" should have been re-negotiated. Not assumed and stolen. Those $FET tokens still belong to the Alliance, the $FET community because that's what Ocean did, they merged INTO the alliance. We were all one.

Where Does the Fetch ai FET Token Go From Here? ASI Crypto Update The ASI Alliance updated the $FET token community earlier today on X. Here are the main points from the X space as well as my thoughts. @Fetch_ai @ASI_Alliance @oceanprotocol

@cryptoF0XXY @Fetch_ai @ASI_Alliance @oceanprotocol The conversion ratios were calculated at a fixed point in time not a live price feed (snapshot -> 1 OCEAN = 0.433226 FET) and publicly documented in the merger papers. Re-calculating them dynamically based on market changes would make the entire merger unmanageable.

@cryptoF0XXY @Fetch_ai @ASI_Alliance @oceanprotocol Ocean’s FET represented their equity share in the new ecosystem — not a donation, not a surrender. The ASI merger was a token migration, not a legal acquisition. Ownership never changed hands — only the ticker did.
