Ever placed a trade, watched it confirm, but your balance still shows the old amount for a few seconds? That's an indexing delay, and it's one of the most frustrating UX bottlenecks in DeFi. Here is how Deeptrade fixed it completely using Sui GraphQL. We already migrated to gRPC to ensure your transactions execute instantly, even under high load. But execution is only half the battle. If we fetch your balance before the node has indexed your trade, the UI might overwrite your new balance with old, stale data. The most common "fix" is to intentionally add an artificial delay after the trade, forcing you to wait until the node catches up. We refuse to compromise. Both approaches, either showing stale data or making you wait, are unacceptable for a fast trading platform. To solve this, we utilize Sui GraphQL. Why? Because while gRPC is built for action, GraphQL is built for consistency. Thanks to @ashok_menon for pointing us toward this architectural unlock. GraphQL guarantees that all data returned comes from the exact same checkpoint. By syncing our optimistic UI updates with these checkpoint responses, we eliminated the risk of stale data overwrites. But this isn't just about preventing rollbacks—it's about speed. We don't have to wait for balance refetches at all. We can safely apply the exact transaction effects the millisecond it confirms on-chain. And this isn't just an isolated feature. This is a complete, app-level architecture upgrade. Whether you are swapping, margin trading, or sending balances from your account page, the speed and consistency are universal. What does this mean for you?
