@HallacasMayo @TuyobonXD @sillyone060 @tobyfox Japanese companies are notorious with not having overseas localizations to begin with. Deltarune having only english and japanese translations is because toby fox is bilingual in those languages, well enough to perfectly express it in his intended vision AS development goes on.

The thing that you don't seem to understand about my point is that both Nintendo and Toby Fox could do official translations for both of these examples and Toby has a way easier task than Nintendo

We already know it takes months for japanese localization to be done with simply because he spends alot of time correcting and assisting the team to have the translation be correct.

With translation teams going on pair with development, OFF is a that get just a little fraction of the profit of UT/DR and have seven languages, if he cares, he can translate their games to any lang

You said that I would be mad at it but the hypothetical simply falls flat because english is the most used language here, by a wide marign.

@RebeccaChamba this is toby cares about every little detail fox. A rough translation wouldnt be enough for him. On top of the fact that he might not know that language to begin with, which will make it even harder to have the translations send the intended message.

Why do you think Toby spent years learning Japanese to personally oversee and check the translation of every single line of dialogue in his games? He cares so much about his stories that a translation team wouldn't cut it.
