Happy Mother’s Day!

Players: The point of HS sports isn’t getting a college scholarship. It’s learning cooperation, loyalty, communication, being a good person & working with others in good times & bad. If a scholarship comes from that, great. But either way, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Sad for these 3 seniors last season to be cut short but I am truly blessed to have been lucky enough to cross their paths. #loveeachofyou #1heartbeat #classof2020

To the Class of 2020: This isn’t wat u xpected 4 ur Senior year. However, u should be proud of all that u have achieved @ YCHS. To honor/show u that we r 🤔 of u, next week the athletic 💡 @ YCHS will shine 4 20 mins/20 secs each night @ 20:20 (8:20 p.m.) Stay strong/stay safe.

Players: Just because you work hard doesn’t mean you’ll be successful. It doesn’t mean you’ll play more or be a starter, but it puts you ahead of all those who don’t. HARD WORK is the foundation for ANY kind of success. In sports & in life, without hard work, you have NO CHANCE!

This will be my final year @YorkSoftball1 as coach. It has been a wonderful 5 years in which I have put my heart & soul into this program, it’s time for a change. I will cherish the moments/memories forever and am grateful for the chance to have been a part of the player’s lives.
