I get your point, but I disagree. Geno embarrassed himself and UConn. He did not harm Dawn Staley. He made a spicy comment and moved on in the handshake line. Happens often. Dawn snapped and started talking about fighting. Triggered. No self-control. Violence or threats of violence not the proper response from an adult (or child). She had the option of letting Geno make a fool of himself all by himself. She didn't need to join him.

@Carter__boy_ It depends on the local laws. Red shirt clearly swung first, and blue didn't engage him to fight. That said, it was unnecessary to shoot at that moment. He could have tried deescalation knowing he was armed. That looked ego and anger driven, which might hurt him in court.
