Many people do not know that FIFA pay clubs for each player they have at the World Cup. It’s about $5k - $11k per day. So let’s say a player spends 10 days at the World Cup, the player’s club gets between $50k - $110k just for that player. Cucurella spent more than 30 days, Chelsea would be getting between $200k and $400k just for Cucurella alone. It is “per player, per day”, that’s how it’s calculated. I also think they count from the date of release, which is like early June or Late May. Also, the eligibility of a club is based on the player registration as at when the player was released. Chelsea were the ones who released Cucurella, so Chelsea are getting the money. So, Real Madrid are doing the posting, Chelsea are getting the money😭

The deal can still breakdown even after all these agreements if something goes wrong. Same as Samu Chelsea saga in 2024
