I’m sorry, but that was awful. All the picks were announced 8 minutes in. 😭 No lead up. No anticipation. No packages or analysis for each player & fit. No in-depth context for free agency. It was essentially a one woman show with interviews. That could’ve been a video email.

Screw WNBA management and screw the NBA owners. Houston bails when the league was down and Connecticut propped them up. Now league is strong Houston gets a team and Connecticut gets the shaft. This has been bullshit from the beginning when Boston and Hartford were denied bids.

An incredibly irritating part of the Sun saga is the WNBA's justification for ruling out the Pags group/Boston: well they didn't submit an expansion bid last round! Why *the hell* would they submit an expansion bid when there's a team in Connecticut they know is for sale?
