You’re judged on leadership, mentality, winning the biggest matches, and helping the club compete for major honours consistently. There’s an old saying: ‘Too much noise makes a donkey think he’s a lion.’ And sometimes in football, too much hype can cloud reality. Bruno is a talented player — nobody is denying that. But this idea that he’s above criticism or deserves to be placed ahead of players who’ve genuinely dominated seasons? I’m not having that. And Manchester United need to be very careful. If the long-term vision is to build everything around Bruno Fernandes and expect that to take them back to the very top of English football, I don’t see it happening. Not one person slowed down. They just adjusted their pace, looked at their phones, and kept walking. I eventually stepped in to help her. What stayed with me wasn’t what she said—it was her reaction. She looked surprised… almost like she wasn’t expecting help at all. It made me think: Have we become so “busy” that we no longer notice when people need help? Or have we genuinely stopped caring as much as we used to?
