People having no comprehension on what SDS did with the strike zone this update is the exact reason they do the bare minimum every year. They're able to fool you with words that look cute on paper.
This update will not help you strike out a good player. The strike zone is the same as it was yesterday before the update. Pitches that met the requirements to be 50/50 called strikes before are now "dotted pitches barely touching the zone"
I thought they were keeping the batters box the same & expanding the strike zone but they wanted to give us a placebo instead. You will see no difference in gameplay & they don't know how to fix slider shrinkage so we remain fucked.
In other words, yesterday's update was all talk, no walk. They did nothing lol.

@OutOfTheVines Years ago, I wondered about something related. Could an outfielder intentionally bobble a catch a few times to accomplish the same thing? Putting it another way, is the runner allowed to head home the moment the ball hits the glove or does he have to wait for an out to occur?
