Taehyung about his dream to be a singer 
🗣️: Taehyung, when did you first think, “I’ want to become a singer”?
🐻 When I was in elementary school and 
when we were asked what we wanted to be in the future, I was the only one who said I wanted to be a singer. But when I told my grandmother she said, “Singers/actors are the kind of jobs only certain kinds of people become” (she meant not ordinary people like them since he came from a small town) 
🐻: And my family was opposed to me 
me pursuing music 🗣️: No but Taehyung you have the kind of beautiful face that could go out there as it is 
🐻: But when I was younger, people would often say things to me like, “What do you mean, you’re going to be a singer?” There was also Kang Donghoon hyungnim around me, and with what my grandmother used to say, I’d think,”How do people like that even become celebrities?” So I thought,” Yeah… that looks difficult.” And I just accepted it 🗣️: Coming from Geoje, it felt like a surprisingly pretty big dream to have 🐻: My parents lived in Geoje, but I was raised by my grandparents in Geochang 🐻 My hometown is Daegu, but I moved, so I spent my elementary and middle school years in Geochang. You really are! You’re the first person from our hometown to receive a medal, right?
