Yo, @RuneScape it seems like having prem club cancelled my 1 month sub so I lost my grandfathered rates even though I've had a continuous sub. That HAS to be an oversight, you cannot punish those that bought your top tier subscription. Can we get clarification on this?

Showerthought: They most likely knew they were going to change the way grandfather rates work and advertised the 100 bank space from 12 month membership as a permanent unlock to cheat as many people out of their rate as possible before the announcement.

@ThaStrake @1st_Uruk_Hai @RuneScape Before all this nonsense I was grandfathered in at $5.95 and now I'm expected to pay nearly twice as much if I want the 12 month package because they felt like doing a massive rug pull on all of us. The price raise was expected but the changes to grandfathered rates dont sit well

On April 9, the price of Memberships will be changing. Prices for New Memberships & Bonds have changed as of today, March 10. Members on active Grandfather Rate monthly subscriptions will not be affected. Find out more: secure.runescape.com/m=news/members…

@RuneScape I'm sure there's a perfectly good and logical explanation as to why my grandfathered rate isn't there but contacting support is virtually impossible for this

@RuneScape So just having membership isn't enough by itself to maintain my grandfathered rate now? Why should it matter whether I pay monthly, annually, or through bonds. This isn't rewarding loyalty, this is encouraging people to walk away when they no longer have to worry about their rate
