@Sarcasm1112 I think people respond to Thackeray's appeal so they can be presented as faces of alliance but Congress will be leading it. And all these parties have district level leaders who can connect with workers and voters.

They were together fighting BMC elections with the hidden support by Congress. Everyone knows what happened then. Raj Thakre is good person but he is past his prime. He seems more interested in his personal life with family and health ( rightly so). Uddhav Thakre is also having health concerns. To stop Modi Shah and Fadanvis one needs to be full time in politics. No leaves, no holidays!

Merger of SHS UBT and MNS can be a gamechanger move in Maharashtra Politics. They can defeat all these 6 traitors in their own constituencies with help of Congress.

So, it appears even the communists have voted for BJP backed industrialist in Jharkhand. That makes it harder for them to claim the moral high ground in Kerala or elsewhere. Political compromises are easy to justify when others make them; much harder when your own side does.

@srinivashdash Yes BJP will try to counter polarise OBCs but it won't help. Because Maratha+ Kunbi constitutes 36% of MH population and Muslims, SCs and STs will also consolidate behind this alliance. So even with counter polarisation of OBCs this alliance will be very formidable and will win.
