@rmayemsinger Filly Brown was a Sundance winner and I was wowed by Gia Rodriguez in the title role (before Jane the Virgin). A story about a young East LA rapper scrambling for a break and what happens when she gets one. The film had limited release, mixed reviews. I thought it exceptional.
