@eveofthedaleks In comparison to the force fields, I don't hate this one. However, I feel whenever the sonic screwdriver performs a function, there should be a logical reason as to why it can do that. It's sonic, so vibrates particles, how does that play into the effect of its use.

Whoever takes over from RTD as #DoctorWho showrunner, the next title sequence should incorporate the Doctor's face (in between cast names and show logo).

My best case scenario:
- Piper leads the special but is not the Doctor
- completely new production team & Doctor for series in 2027
- special somehow wraps up other loose ends (Susan, 14, the Boss, etc) so we can move on completely

@TARDIStime2 For me, it’s the loss of the transparent “glassy” effect when the TARDIS de/materialises that was used throughout the Tennant and Smith eras that bothers me. Now it’s just a very cheap looking fade in/out effect.
