If the “protesters” were Black they would have been shot with rubber bullets, tear gassed, and killed.

We have witnessed two systems of justice: one that let extremists storm the U.S. Capitol yesterday, and another that released tear gas on peaceful protestors last summer. It’s simply unacceptable.

I have been so honored to work with the most amazing, hard working, dedicated team @civilrightsorg This work to build an America as good as its ideals is going to take all of us. So our collective work continues.
